As long as it doesn't harm Wichita State's fortunes, who really gives a **** right?

What is there to be jealous about?

      • The B12's shiny new stadiums are likely to bite them in their ass. They were financed from the revenue stream that UT and OU brought to the league. Gonna be a little tough to make those debt payments now that the cash cows got out of the barn and wandered off.

KU will NEVER get into the B1G. That league is financed by FB. KU brings nothing to the table in FB, other than an automatic win for bowl eligibility. Splitting the money one more way would cost every school a couple mill. When you have to split the pie one more way, but the pie don't get no bigger, it's not going to happen.

Actually, their shiny new stadiums and fat revenue checks are why they have multiple options to play today.

OUR lack of football period is why we are 100% at the whim of the actions of those around us. We have absolutely no control over our destiny - like a leaf blowing in the wind.

Comparing that to the B12 stadiums you posted, it’s no wonder Texas A&M wanted out. Big12 looks like a G5 conference.

Little 8 won't need any help with scheduling unless OU and UT stiff their former in-state conference members. THAT would be a low blow and totally unnecessary. OU/OSU and UT/TCU etc. will still happen. All the rest of the conference members have to do is replace two games with solid teams every year. No big deal. A couple will actually be excited not to have to face OU/UT every season.

They had a $450 million stadium UPGRADE in 2013. That was SEC money son...

And they have a 13 BILLION dollar endowment as well. Mad money...

Archery is kinda cool. Handball is odd.

                          Cute.

Those pictures were all taken when OU and Texas came to town.

                          Still cute though.

That reminded me I forgot to add what a mess basketball weeknight tip-off times will be when the conference spans three time zones. I know football is the driving force, but I can't think the TV carriers would be wild about that.

even before the SEC, A&M out classed the B12.

Cold do you know how many seasons A&M played UT after they joined the SEC? Texas begged for the game publicly and privately but A&M consistently told them to pound sand
