Ah yes, another season of WSU MBB appears potentially in the making with top 15/20 poll rankings, top 10 kenpom/other analytics, and NCAA projections placing us barely in the tournament as the 40-50th best team on the S-Curve. We wouldn't know what to do with ourselves, otherwise.

I predict more teams will be added to the "WTF is WSU doing seeded THERE and in OUR bracket" list, which to date is populated by:

After this game, our projected RPI is 27 with a 26-4 projected record (136 SoS). That probably puts us in the 7-8 seed line, but this is the NCAA Selection Committee we are talking about. A solid 9 seed at this point isn't the worst thing in the world given our remaining schedule.
