I personally think Quincy Acy improves our odds of getting Abmas. I have a feeling his work in the NBA and being part of development for the G League will be VERY attractive to Abmas.

They don't have to have as much, they just need to be in the ballpark that Texas is willing to spend. It isn't about only how much you have, but also how much are you willing to spend.

The NIL and transfer rules are a giant CF and are likely to always be. The management problems for players and coaches, not to mention athletic departments in general take college basketball galaxies from its mission. No one really knows it’s mission any more. That number may be low. Texas had 5 separate NIL collectives (at least?) which merged into 1 large Group.

Miami supposedly has 10 million. Seems we should be able to reach the equivalent 1.5 million.
