If all you do is constantly throw cold water on a team that no one is even disputing, you are just going to end up guaranteeing that they are noticed and paid attention to. He may end up getting us a better seed because of all this nonsense.

i really hate to say it, but it should get his ass fired.

    gross incompetence.

    • I wonder if Kellen Marshall will scalp him on twitter like he did Goatlube last year.

Not only win but win convincingly. Not that anything could convince Palm.

That would be nice. But several things to remember even though MSU has been floundering this year.
            1. MSU is quite talented. They have rarely shown it for extended period of time this year. They may hit us in the mouth and then we have to react on the road.
            2. It is a home game for MSU. If we allow them too much belief, it could get sticky.
            3. It is Senior Day for MSU

            • Given the slow demise of the non-P5 at-large bids; how much of Palm is 100% authentic versus 60% authentic with 40% drama for selection Sunday drama? It is possible a lot of this contrived but my gut tells me that he (Palm) actually believes it. I am curious what others think about the authenticity vs drama possibilities.

MSU has a small collection of good athletes, a couple are decent to good basketball players. MSU is not a good basketball team. However, I would take Church and Johnson on our team in a heartbeat. GM could do wonders with those guys. I expect the MSUY crowd to be out in full force today. Hopefully we will have them in stunned silence by the 2nd half.

I don't know what that idiot thinks, but the fact is, there is a large portion of the power 5 evil empire that want everyone to see things just like he does.

He will still look like an idiot if they get a seed in the 7-9 range, maybe even ten. You can't go from out of the tourney to jumping 10 or 15 teams by winning one game.

Seems like the opposite may be true as well.

I have no idea what he actually believes about how good Wichita State is. Not sure he cares. But I do think that he believes he his predictions of what the Selection Committee will/would do are on target based on what he sees on paper. He probably figures if he watches much college basketball it would cloud his ability to objectively analyze what he perceives how the committee goes about their business. Unfortunately, for Mr. Palm I think the committee is becoming a bit more nuanced in its approach than it has in the past.

Coach put it best. If we play well we will be fine. But he did point out that MSU out scored us in the second half at CKA.

I think that MSU has the 3rd best talent in the league. They just don't play like it.
