IMO most of what Palm does is for drama and ratings; especially with other CBS personnel offering some support while others condemn his thinking.

      • CBS's halftime showed every score and highlight of every Top 25 team, except WSU. Even through the Illinois St-UNI score up there.

I think CBS has an issue.

          • If Steve Howe were a P5 school he would be safely in.

                What does LRMC stand for?

                  • There is a selection committee for a reason. If their job was to simply pick the best teams based on RPI or whatever formula, they could get it done with a computer. The committee is supposed to pick the 37 BEST at large teams. This is not just a scientific analysis. Guys like Jerry Palm apparently don't understand this.

I think this is wrong and gets used as rationale too often. They should be picking the 37 teams that did the most to EARN bids. I don't care how good people think you are, winning 55% of your games is not "earning" a bid. Regardless of whether somebody random thinks on a random day you could be one of the "best" teams in the country.

                            • KState should be eliminated from the conversation for an at large. Dean Wade, transfer to Wichita.
