That would be a great regional for the Shoxs.
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kickass ... and I'm all out of bubblegum.

Also interesting. ISU is ranked 8th from the bottom of DI in Momentum

To add onto this .. His twitter is fun today as he's arguing for the fact WSU deserves closer to a 6 seed than to not be included.

        • I guess I would like some of these "bracketologists", although maybe they don't think it's their job, to call out some of these P5 schools that finish mid-pack and let their conference opponents raise their metrics beyond their actual worthiness.
Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.

I don't like Lunardi either after watching him on Sports Center this past weekend. None of which concerned the Shocks but his reasoning was crazy.

.@IowaHoops with a big home win against Indiana. Even more impressive is the young talent in this program. Iowa making a case for NCAA's

Yep, losers of 3 of 4, thanking Indiana for GIVING them the win AT HOME tonight to not make the losing streak 4 in a row....but yeah, they're making a case for the NCAAs.

              • Missouri is also making a case for the NCAAs.

                    • Honestly, if we can win the auto-bid, I'd love to see these terrible teams get in the tourney.

Oops -- slipped up in the second half. They do have a better league record than LSU does, though. Just not a good year to be scheduling Tigers from the SEC, as it turns out, although at least Auburn is 17-11 overall (thereby beating Missouri's and LSU's combined [!] wins).

Meanwhile, on the Kentucky side of the scorecard, a total of 15 minutes combined for Humphries and Mulder, with two baskets, five points, and two boards (both by Mulder!) between them. Oh, well -- they can always listen to Ashley Judd screech about whatever the hell she's upset about now.

                        • The more I read this bullshit, the more I pull for Ill St to get an at-large if we take St Loo.

But look, KState just beat West Virginia... making their case...

Their home loss to UNO was a quality loss.

I would put this year's K-State team in ahead of almost all the other teams currently being discussed as "bubble teams", minus WSU of course. They won tough games on the road, and a ton of their losses have come down to the final possession. No way they aren't a top 45 team. I'd probably slot them in the low 30s.

Yeah, I dont disagree. My point would have been better if I said Texas Tech.
