Yes, I know the Zags get more big-name players these days, but so far it hasn't helped them, at least vs. WSU. It's all the coaching situation. If Parrish were as confident about Marshall as he is about Few, the two would be much closer together.
2. And speaking of coaches, after reaching the end of the article I suddenly turned into Holmes observing the dog that didn't bark: where's Wisconsin? Apparently until he knows what's going to happen after Bo Ryan, Parrish isn't going to be as confident about the Badgers' ability to replace Kaminsky, Dekker, and Hayes as he is about WSU's ability to fill in behind Baker and FVV. Interesting.

.....but, statistically speaking, you miss 99% of the shots you do take.

If anybody can tell me how to get a game off of my Cox DVR and onto my computer, I will make a video of those 9 possessions. A quick Google search didn't find a video of that sequence.
This article is probably the source of Baker's quote (which should never be forgotten), "I got this". That was a Fr showing confidence taking it to the #1 team in the nation.

The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

That's some prolific writing and knowledge right there.

Some teams' nonconference schedules -- Kentucky's, Gonzaga's and Vanderbilt's -- stand out. Others, such as Louisville's and LSU's, leave something to be desired.
Insider content, but WSU clocks in at the 14th toughest Non-Con schedule among major conference teams (plus the major players in mid-major leagues)

Still, on the question of what lies ahead the next five years, I don't agree that the two are that far apart. And I'm not convinced that getting more highly regarded recruits automatically equates to having better college basketball players (or even more important than that, a better team, which is what it's ultimately all about anyway). So I'd move Gonzaga down a bit and WSU up a bit. I'm not at all persuaded that the Shakahorns deserve to be ahead of WSU, for example, despite their nearly infinite financial clout. I have yet to see a dollar bill steal a ball from Kelly Oubre, for example (although Dollar Bill Bradley certainly gave WSU fits 50 years ago).
