By the way, Nolan also currently guesses that K-State will bring up the bottom (!) of the Big 12-2, wrapping up at 9-22 (seriously) and 2-16 (even more seriously) in conference play. That's hard to imagine, but it would be quite a sight, wouldn't it? Imagine the EMAW reaction if anything close to that occurs. (He also has WSU finishing the Valley at 17-1, presumably with a loss to the UNIs, whom he predicts to go 15-3 for a second place Valley finish.)

Oh, look! Louisville is playing at Western Kentucky and Indiana plays at Bulter on the same day Iowa and Iowa St are playing at UNI and Drake.
Sure would be fun to live in a state where people weren't chicken.
UNM and NMSU are finishing a non-con home and home with each other in the same season today.

Anyone watching Louisville - Western Kentucky? Playing at WKU the Cards lead but the last 4 minutes it got interesting. There was a loose ball scrum and it ended with Montrez Harrell getting tossed for throwing a punch and both coaches getting T'd up AFTER the meeting for serious jawing at each other, not the R who by the way was also hurt in the fight.
WKU has a couple of scrappy freshman and the 2nd half, while probably still a likely blowout, could get interesting.

I was looking for info on the Louisville/WKU series and came across this article.
Western Kentucky coach Ray Harper watched this week as Wichita State labored at home against Alabama.Wichita State wasn't supposed to lose the game, and the crowd wasn't going to settle for defeat. Those in attendance erupted in the final minutes as the Shockers completed the comeback effort.
Harper felt the crowd was one of the biggest factors in the end result, and he hopes fans at E.A. Diddle Arena can play a similar role at noon today when the Hilltoppers (5-4) welcome No. 4 Louisville.
"There's no question that Wichita State is a terrific team, but they have one of those programs where their fans will them to wins," Harper said. "They should've lost that basketball game. If that would've been 99 percent of the teams in college basketball, they would've lost. But not Wichita State at Wichita State. ... Those fans will them to wins. They're going to have to will us on (today). We'll need their help. It's going to have to be continuous.
"That's what good crowds and good programs have, are fans that care."
