There is also no mitigation agreement, which is common in separation agreements. That means WSU still has to pay Marshall if the coach is hired by another program in the next six years.

The fact that Marshall received such a favorale settlement with no mititgation provision indicates that either WSU did not feel like they were in a strong bargaining position or WSU just has lousy negotiators. Based on the fact that Marshall had a $15 million buyout in the first place and other crappy contracts WSU has made (i.e. Todd Butler, Isaac Brown, Keitha Adams) I would guess both of those things were true. The fact that the results of the investigation still remain under wraps is a pretty strong indication that one or both parrties, probably both, don't want the facts out. The fact that the allegations came 5 years after the fact and the liklihood that ADDB had knowledge of the alleged incidents at or near the time the happened made it almost impossiblbe to terminate Marshall for cause. Not the mention, WSU full well knew they had an emotional, volatile, demanding coach on their hands pretty much for the get go.

Watching SMU/Memphis and can't help thinking Tulsa did WSU a favor on Thursday.
No way WSU hangs with either of these two teams on their third day of playing.
Actually, no way WSU hangs with Memphis with a week of rest. Just don't have the athletes to match up with those dudes.

Man Arizona is good. Even losing their starting PG yesterday (or was it Thursday?) they are battling UCLA in the PAC12 Championship.

I thought they got a BS F1 call early in the 2nd half, and that made their deficit 12, but they are battling back. Their coach, Tommy Lloyd, is doing a FANTASTIC job in Tucson. Hope they don't get screwed out of a 1 seed if they lose tonight and Kerr Krissa injured.
