I listened to games with my father in the garage. I remember watching the Shockers bear the Vols to go to the Sweet 16 in 2006 after coming home from a baseball fundraiser. My dad was a graduate of Wichita State in 1988 I believe. I heard the tales and experienced the heartache of the 90s, though I wasn’t old enough to comprehend. As a former student and athlete at this university, I hope you find a way to continue your support. It is appreciated and needed, possibly now more than ever.
If Marshall is gone, and that is still an IF, I would be 100% against the decision. The last time I thought a coach had run his course was when Gene Stephenson was fired, and I now wholeheartedly regret those thoughts/opinions. A dent in the pocketbook may be required, and that I understand. But our hearts bleed black and yellow.
Long wave the yellow and the black.
