Holy ****!
Well, we are totally ****ed then.
I mean, Gregg Marshall is only the greatest coach in Shocker history. The AAC is collectively moaning right now. Now we're Tulsa w/o football.
The ghost of Mark Mangino and Bobby Knight are
Gregg had definitely lost his edge, but he had the potential to gain his second wind. I was waiting for it to happen in fact. Now we're going to hire a "nice guy" as a replacement. We're ****ed.
Oh well, at least I was front and center to experience a Shocker Golden Era. The trip to Atlanta will never be forgotten.
Thanks Gregg for all you did!
Bringing the level down a notch, or maybe even two, is just what's needed in these trying times and you're perfect for the job. Thanx... ; DLast edited by ShockingButTrue; November 12, 2020, 06:38 AM.

its common this year. So much so we have a brand new name for these things.cancel culture. If you think it doesn't exist, you really need to do some homework. Personally, I believe this could be the case here....I said "could....
Do you think this would be an item if it were a black coach rather than marshal? Be honest!
Plus, based off what happened with President Golden, sure seems like WSU caves to other political pressure.

I am not making any accusations or claims, however, without re reading all these pages I believe I recall some
mention of this Beamer person having Antifa posts on her webb page. We already know how left wing many
members of the media can be which makes me wonder how far left ******* could possibly be. Anyone know
his political back ground? First I've heard of SM's BLM reference but a case "might" be made about some sort
collusion between these entities with some very left wing attorneys involved, as well. I sure hope this kind of
activity is not responsible for targeting GM and Koch but it wouldn't be the most surprising thing I have seen in
recent months

It appears at this point that the national media has all been reporting that WSU is “expected” to fire Marshall this week. The source of that info appears to be some random Facebook poster who claims to have sources. He even said he has friends at ESPN. Meanwhile. neither WSU nor Taylor Eldridge has reported anything about a firing. It also seems that 3G saw all this speculation being reported on the local news and went up to WSU and probably blew a gasket and was asked to leave. Perhaps he blew a gasket because he has been negotiating something less than a termination. Perhaps a suspension is forthcoming and the Goodman’s of the world already blew their wad. Let’s just step back and see how this plays out.

Also, a recent podcast with Ron Baker shows his hand on this story. He didn't say much, but its obvious where he stands. He said he will tell his story eventually. I'm interested to see if he gets crucified on this board like Shaq has.

There is no excuse for a history professor to ever put their hands on a student, run them down in front of other students, or to visit their living quarters. Good coaches are physically touching students on a near daily basis, are having to get lazy 19 year-olds' attention for not attending classes or paying attention/participating at practice, and sometimes have to check in on their where abouts at night to make sure they are obeying curfew and not out smoking dope at 3am. A history professor that never played D1 sports cannot possibly understand or relate to that dynamic, even if they imagine they can.
I expect experienced presidents and athletic directors to better understand that dynamic, because if they are experienced they have seen it play out over and over and have "heard it all". 19-year olds make bad decisions often. Coaches rarely. That doesn't mean coaches are infallible, but generally the adult in the room is ... the adult.Kung Wu say, man who read woman like book, prefer braille!

I could say more, but it probably more appropriately belongs in one of the elections pages. Let's just say that if you buy into the fact this election got stolen and you regurgitate this bullshit in front of a judge, you will be in danger of losing your law license, or, if you're a 'witness' a purjury charge, which is why a lot of this stuff is dying on the vine.
I don't think anyone wants to risk their livelihood by committing ethical violations in front of a judge.
And I think Patty Beamer, no matter what her political leanings are, is mentally imbalanced and it would be appropriate for school administrators to go to court to get a restraining order to prevent her from posting, reposting or speaking to media about things that might not be true.
