Coach Gregg Marshall Investigation

I don’t mean to over personalize this, but I, feel like I’ve been hit in the nuts, let down by someone I have greatly admired and honored, through the years. A man who has previously brought terrific excitement, honors, and pride to our University, his former players, our most faithful basketball fans, and rightfully to himself as well. I hope he recovers from this and I wish him nothing but the best in the future..

I can only imagine what he and his family are going through, as well as his present and former players. Emotionally we will most likely recover much faster than they.

It may take us a while, or even, more than a while to get back to the excellence Greg achieved, but we will be back, and the sooner the better.

The next few years may be rather rocky, but the likely hopes for a National Championship will once again ring out in the near future. Of that we can be assure.

It all depends on who they hire. Good leaders excel no matter who they are leading. A bad leader can beget a bad culture.

I have no faith that the brainpower that made this decision will follow it with a competent one.

Haven't been able to find anything online about it. Lutz said something about suspension while due process takes place.

IMO, sounds like something along these lines - "No termination for alleged "good cause" shall occur without first giving Mr. Marshall notice in writing of the "good cause" actions alleged and an opportunity to be heard."

I don't think it was a press conference, just a press release. And I've seen nothing so far.

In less than 24 hours there have been rumors of three outcomes:

- Resignation
- Termination
- Suspension

Maybe if I had a checkmark by my name, I could start quoting “sources” and getting paid for it.

Nothing yet. I'm starting to wonder if maybe Lutz was told a release at 6 pm and he decided to say 5 pm instead so people would keep listening to his show for details :)
