I'm okay with the minimum wage being raised. It hasn't kept up with inflation so adjusting it for that, as well as some regional cost-of-living variable seems reasonable. Maybe you get $9 in Kansas and $18 in NYC. Two people on minimum wage need to be able to afford a modest apartment, food, and a used car. That isn't the case now.

I understand the implications for small businesses. Perhaps there could be a waiver for companies w/ less than 30 employees. But a couple working at Wal-Mart will have the means to exists w/ some dignity, have a child, and even save for education, investment, or entrepreneurial pursuits.

Minimum wage was never intended to cover the cost of living. It is there to prevent abuse of uneducated and youngsters, most of whom still live with mom and dad.
I forgot where it was that raised their minimum wage to $15/hr. It actually caused less wages for waiters and waitresses. Customers quit tipping because restaurants raised their prices and the customers figured $15/hr was a good wage.
Inflation is a sure thing after a minimum wage increase. The folks who get hurt are retired folks trying to make it on their SS checks.

Biden spent the lae st 9 months telling everyone he had a Covid plan. Apparently that was a lie like, “I won’t ban fracking”, or "we will follow the science," or "$2,000 checks to every American on day 1."

Or no executive orders....and on and on.
I think all of those things were his intent but he either forgot or the real democrats told him what to do first, second and so on. But probably both.

Trump is part of the swamp too. He may end up being the biggest swamp creature after it's all said and done. He likely coined the term for misdirection. Trump is really good at Pied Piper of the lowest common denominator.

So I don’t think it was the politicians pocketbooks that were the problem. I think it was the guys that donate to their campaigns that weren’t happy with Trump. They weren’t able to get the things done that they wanted and they were putting pressure on the politicians.
