My understanding is both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines require two shots. Is that correct? If so, does anyone know what the time period between the 1st and 2nd shot is and is the recipient protected from Covid-19 to any extent during that time period?

I'm not sure there is any way for a specific individual to make that determination. Two people can have totally different results to the same vaccine in terms of efficacy and side effects. At 70 years old not sure I'm in a position to be very picky. I wouldn't say I qualify as the luckiest person in the world. With my luck I will test positive within a few days ahead of a scheduled vaccine and will be told no reason to take the vaccine now. Just go home and develop your antibodies the old fashioned way.

Why are states with 10 times the amount of population and cases able to give daily updates while this state only does it on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays?
