    • If there was data that people without masks were dying at a higher rated than the mask Nazis, it would be all over the news.

      • Any data on the flu pandemic yet this year? Or do those lives not matter as much?

I don't know wtf you are talking about. I don't follow your posts closely. I just respond to what I want. Clarify what I'm ignoring and I'll address it.

There is clear data in hundreds of communities across the country showing mask mandates curbing infections.

Don't make comments like this. You are smarter than that.

Hell, the head of the CDC said and I quote, "masks could be even better than vaccines".

The flu has been nearly eradicated in many parts of the world this year due to all the mask wearing.

The flu is nowhere near as infectious as SARS-1. It is absolutely no match for community mask wearing.

I think when this is all over you'll see more mask wearing during the flu season by concerned individuals and the vulnerable. The Japanese have known the benefits of wearing masks during flu seasons for many years. Americans just had a stigma about wearing them.

Essentially you're saying that masks may not prevent infection. Do you know what kind of scientific precedent you are up against when you make that assertion? Perhaps you could float that theory at the next AMA conference. Start your speech with the following attention grabber: "What if I told you that it may not be necessary to ever wear your PPE in the hospital again?" I guarantee you will have their full attention.

                      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scott_Atlas

Atlas has spread misinformation about COVID-19.[5] He has claimed that children "have virtually zero risk of dying, and a very, very low risk of any serious illness from this disease" and "children almost never transmit the disease"[28][31] although children can carry, transmit, and be killed by the COVID-19 virus.[28] He has argued that only symptomatic individuals should be tested for the coronavirus, and pushed for the CDC's August 2020 recommendation that non-symptomatic people not be tested;[32][28] this position was opposed by many public health experts, as 40% of people infected with the virus are asymptomatic and can transmit the virus.[32]

To me a doctor that pushes misinformation is reckless and violating his ethical cannons. That would be a quack by definition:

noun. a fraudulent or ignorant pretender to medical skill. a person who pretends, professionally or publicly, to skill, knowledge, or qualifications he or she does not possess; a charlatan.

He is not qualified as an infectious disease specialist. He is spreading misinformation.

                      5:
Monica Alba & Carol E. Lee. "Atlas on the outs with coronavirus task force but still pushing Trump's pandemic claims". NBC News. Atlas, has not attended White House task force meetings in person since late September, according to two administration officials, as he continues to spread misinformation about the worsening health crisis. ... The growing split between Atlas and task force leaders came after the group's leading medical experts — Dr. Deborah Birx and Dr. Anthony Fauci — indicated that they did not appreciate Atlas’ controversial input or contributions in the Situation Room gatherings. "That was done in deference to Fauci and Birx because they basically said they will not work with him," a senior administration official said about the adviser's absence at the meetings.

If grandma and grandpa don’t let Cindy and Joey come over, then they don’t get the insidious alien virus. So you don’t have to worry about Joey and Cindy eating at restaurants if they don’t go over to grandma and grandpa’s.

Oh no, it's much more complicated than that. Cindy and Joey work at the pharmacy where grandma and grandpa visit, they also work at the doctor's office, the care home, the assisted living center, the garden center, the grocery store, all restaurants fast food or otherwise.

                              Cindy and Joey are everywhere.

The only way you make grandma and grandpa safe is to literally lock them inside a house and never let them leave. Weld THEIR doors shut so Cindy and Joey can hit their fav club and dive bar rocking out with their cox out!!!1111

And grandma and grandpa are far from the only ones at risk from the insidious, demon seed. People in their 20's, 30's, 40's, 50's, and on up are at risk. Plenty of poor outcomes besides death. And the little tykes don't even get a free pass. You gotta watch them for MIS-C. But that never happens right? Well, a gal I went on a "park date" w/ had to rush her child to the emergency room with a massive rash and internal irregularities (I forget which). Both her children had MIS-C and it showed up 6-8 wks after mom passed the alien bug.
