Raw as he is, I'm quite pleased with EO's performance today. He was a real presence on the defensive end and the team performed better with him in the lineup than when Henry was in there...... They'll need more assertiveness out of Carter and better effort on the boards if they are to succeed at Hutch.....

I refuse to gety hyped up over EO. It's been three years since we first heard about him and it doesn't seem like a great deal of improvement has been made. He has had two years, the year he red-shirted and this year, to advance his skills. Shouldn't A 7' with the athletic ability he is reported to have be more than holding his own, if not dominating the sized players he going up against?
It will be very interesting to see how he performs and progresses against faster, bigger, and more talented opponents than he has been facing.
I really want him to flourish and dominate. Stutz did it this year, his second year here. Hopefully EO will do the same his junior year.

If you've ever listened to Garrett speak when Mike has interviewed him after a game, you know how good a speaker he is. I watched the interview that EO had after the game and he also seems like an eloquent speaker.
We've already seen where Garrett is becoming more of a vocal leader for the team. When EO gets here, it would be something if both big men could become the vocal leaders of the team.

But to add, what I think will happen at WSU is that barring injury to our returning post players he won't play in every game next year. He'll see a few minutes here and there when GS or JT get in foul trouble, maybe some extended minutes in blowouts. That'll give him a year to continue working on his offensive game. When all is said and done, I think we'll get two years of significant defense and one year of serviceable offense out of EO.
That being said, I believe that he will be slow to develop, but will be an NBA player when all is said and done.

EO is gonna be a defensive stopper. He may never score more than 10ppg but the man could average 6 blocks per game before it is all said and done. The shots he will block and/or alter will more than make up for his lack of offensive power. Garrett Stutz and crew will score plenty enough."He called me around noon and was thrilled," Brandt said. "He said he was going to be a Shocker forever." -- RIP Guy, you WILL indeed be a Shocker forever!

I watched some of the replay of the Three Rivers game. The announcers were saying some nice things about EO on the defensive end.
"Orukpe altered the shot."
"Orukpe. He is the reason for the turnover because they couldn't shoot over the 7 footer and made a careless pass."
These are the things MK will be saying over the next three years.

Ehimen will be just fine as long as he is healthy.
Our coaches will see that he develops. He is going to be a terror on the defensive end. You have to remember he is not playing a big man's game right now.
He is just as polite and intelligent as Garrett, and that is saying something.
He'll be a brilliant engineer and have a fantastic life, whether or not he plays professionally.
pin-no pictures of Lynn. Sorry, they are not for sale. Come to the games.

No doubt that Coach Marshall would have never spent such maximum efforts to get EO signed as a Shock if he was not a keeper. Coach seems very defensive minded. A big reason we improved this year was our inside game. Next Season, our bigs all return, will improve, and we add EO and Mr. Hamilton to the fold. U like? On the last Coaches show, Coach was still sorting out how to utilize 2--7 footers on the same team which is a rare opportunity. He did not think they would be on the court alot at the same time next Season but did not rule out the possibility.
