Please understand. I am the first to support our big men. I supported PM when everyone was calling him Fifi. I have been in support of GS from day one. I will also be in support of EO. I have to say though that thus far, I believe my 11 month old great granddaughter could regularly take the ball away from him. This is the 3rd time I've watched him on-line and I've seen him once live. He looks so strong, but is still playing very weak.

He will get there, but please don't expect him to be at all dominating next year. He has a long way to go. Everytime he receives the ball on offense, I wait for someone to take it away from him and it usually happens.

Shot blocking is basically the only thing he has going for him right now. By the time he is a senior for the Shockers, he'll be a thrill to watch, but he is far more of a project than Garrett was even last year.

Coach Marshall will make him a special player, but it will take time. The GS haters will come out big time by mid season next year as EO haters. I expect to see some really good things from him by mid season his junior season and he'll really be special his senior season.

    • Big jam from EO--took the entry pass, spun around his man, and went up strong.

And another major slam dunk. Looking better the 2nd half.

          Assist for EO.

          • And another! Good dish from someone on a drive to a wide open EO--no hesitation, monster jam. He needs to work a lot harder to get position but I like the confidence once he has the ball.

Assist for EO out of the foul line hole in the 2-3 zone (is there a name for that spot?)--kicked it out for an open 3. Good awareness.

Two free throws. Nothing but the bottom of the net.

              • Good to hear he is having a better 2nd half.

Wow, did the coach fire him up or something? LOL

                      • His rebounding also needs a lot of work. He looks to find an open space to occupy but doesn't find a body and block out well. But that can be taught.

Agreed. He needs to learn how to rebound, how to position to receive passes inside and how to be strong with the ball on a consistent basis. He will and he will be a joy to watch. I just hate to think of the haters that will be around while he is learning.

It's bound to happen. No one seems to learn.

                            • The only three things he is required to do is block shots rebound and dunk.

And not necessarily in that order.

As always, I add shoot free throws well.
