  • I just hope for a good, competitive, clean game tomorrow. As I said in one of my previous posts you guys are one of the programs I respect most in college basketball. You guys are amazing fans and always create an amazing atmosphere at home and I think Greg Marshall is by far one of the better coaches in the game.

Much appreciated. Same to you all at Seton Hall. Love playing these games that give our teams a test and I'm sure we'll have our hands full.

I for one hope our series gets renewed for multiple years. Playing each other is great for our programs--for yours to gain experience in a hostile road environment, and for ours playing in a large media market. Not to mention the obvious competitive test we provide for each other. Judging from your posts on our board, and the posts by your fellow SH fans on your board, you are a classy, passionate, and knowledgeable fan base--and that is enough to convince me we should play on an ongoing fanbase. I'm looking forward to an entertaining game on Saturday--hope both teams play hard and injury-free. Good luck the rest of the season. I'm already rooting for you against Creighton!

        • Interesting that Utah is in New York right now, and playing against Duke at Madison Square Garden tomorrow. Too bad that game is at the same time, or the Shocker faithful out there could have caught that one live too.

          • Thanks, a series between the teams would benefit both programs greatly. For you guys it would open up the East coast pipe line a bit which has some great basketball talent. For us it would expand us more into the midwest which also has great high school talent. It is funny you mention Creighton, I do not have nearly as much patience or respect for them as I have for your program, when we play them I want to destroy them flat out. I am really hoping you guys make that big final 4 run this year!

Keep talking about destroying Creighton, you'll fit in nicely around these parts.

Edit: That is last years game.

                    • Those are last years odds. I can't find current odds on the game.

Yep though it's moved to 1.5 down.

Watched a bit of the Seton Hall vs Ole Miss and also vs Rutgers on ESPN3 today. I'm guessing Baker will cover Whitehead and VanVleet on Carrington. Those will be fun matchups to watch, but it will probably be a long day for Seton Hall's guards on both sides of the ball.
