.....but, statistically speaking, you miss 99% of the shots you do take.

It is game day, the Wichita Eagle still shows us as a 1.5 point favorite, and our beloved Shockers are Not scaart. Yes, it should be a close game, similar to the 70-65 score spread I predicted. However, if our D. can again be stingy and hold the Pirates closer to 50 as we have done teams lately, I like our chances even better even though we understand it will be a warrior tough battle.
Our dynamic duo Baker and FVV will be flanked by Conner who could really shine. Most of us agree MM will play solid as usual but there are 3 other factors. How will our bigs play today which includes the 3-headed monsta? Next, our D-fence has been holding foes stars to a mild roar. Today, it would be great if we can slow-down Whitehead, Delgado, and Rodriguez to a mild roar.
Last but not least, The Pirates start, 1 FR. and 4-So. players. Yes, we are playing on the cold and lonely road where we expect oodles of unexpected frays. Even so, look for the steady hand of our Seniors to guide us home with the win. You know that I always believe we will win every game but these are some valid reasons why we could slide through with a close win today.Last edited by forevershockerfan; December 19, 2015, 10:39 AM.Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

What makes him so dangerous is if teams try to guard him with a slower 3 or 4, and they close out hard on him because he's shown to be a good 3-pt shooter, he's athletic and quick enough to go around them and get to the basket.
With good shooters, you want to be in on them on the catch and make them put it on the floor. It could really be a pick your poison kind of scenario with McDuffie."Prediction is very difficult, especially if it is about the future."

My prediction: Shockers win. And they need every one of today's 7,500 free game towels to mop up the tears of the fans and players once they realize they didn't get to watch or play on the greatest team since basketball was invented by Julius Caesar... UNLV 90-91. But Shocks get over it and come home to stomp on the next team as well.

I have to say, I commend Fox on this game. I really do think they have done a good job building it up. Advertising it over last weeks NFL games, promos this week, talking about it at halftime of the St. John's game. I really do think they have done a very good job of this. Even looking forward to what they say about the game at 10:30. I just think they have done a really good job. The BE slant is natural, it is their conference.
