      • He should be suspended, if not by his coach or school, then the NCAA.

        • I've never understood why players/coaches/fans try and get away with horseshit like that in today's age of camera's everywhere. On top of the fact you have around 4-5 HD camera's specifically aimed at the action being broadcast on television, you have numerous staffers for both teams most likely doing some type of filming for social media, and the numerous fans in attendance who have their phones out recording or taking pictures. It is nearly impossible to get away with any poor sportsmanship today, and if you happen to get away with it in the game, it can get brought up or shown after a game. It's really hard to get away with stuff these days.

          • The ref may well have missed the call on Poeltl but that really is of very little relevance (especially considering OSU maintained possession of the ball). There are certain lines you just don't cross and this young man had a brain cramp and unfortunately crossed the line in a big way. Clearly it was an intentional action on his part.

IMHO, the best thing he can do is own up to his transgression and make a heartfelt apology to the ref and accept his punishment, whatever that may be, like a man. A 5-game suspension would probably be about right IMO.

And even further complicating matters is him flailing his arms in disbelief, wondering what he did wrong after he was rung up with the T.

Suspended for a minimum of 4 games.

Oregon State forward Jarmal Reid has been suspended a minimum of four games for tripping a ref during the Beavers' loss to Utah on Sunday night.

                  • Duke gets another quality home loss, to Syracuse, 64-62. They'll still squeeze in the polls next week.

Props to the officials for not succumbing to Coach K and their crowd late.

                      • Duke is a very average basketball team right now. Our guards would absolutely abuse them.

                          • #20 Duke losing their 3rd in a row and on their home court to an unranked and mediocre at best Syracuse team may be reason enough for us to leap frog them in the polls if we can do our job and keep winning.
