That's a great win for UNI even though UNC's Marcus Paige did not play. At the end of the year, only UNC fans will put an asterisk by the L column. My question is, how did they get UNC to travel to their joint? Is there a star kid from Iowa on UNC's team or something?

It is a good day for the Valley. As for MSU, well it seemed like everyone but MSU fans/boosters recognized Barry and his team were subjected to extreme bad luck.

According to the rules of basketball savant Jeff ******* WSU should drop out of the top 25 and UNI will move in. But we all know in reality his "logic" will only be applied to one of these two teams.

They use to call our Conference the Valley Of Death many moons ago. Several awesome teams from those days are gone. Even so, as a rule of thumb, when the big boys come out to play, they don't like playing Valley teams so much. N. Carolina was ranked #1 but UNI have shooters, guards that can penetrate, and they play solid at home. We want our beloved Shocks to win 30 or more this Season which would be very rare and thus groovy. Speaking of the Valley of Death, when teams come to 21st and Hillside, getting out of here with a win for them is as difficult as pulling hens teeth.

So WSU is currently the most disappointing team in the mvc? Maybe it's gonna be a solid year for the conference after all. I won't get my hopes up just yet for the rest of the conference to hold it together, but I have ZERO doubt our team while find itself soon.

Watching Drake/UMKC reminds me of some dark times in the 90s. These are two teams trying really hard who really, really suck.
