Weird thing though, during the timeouts they are pumping in loud music to keep the crowd jacked. No recliners on the floor, or people dressed up like coffee cups. Huh...
A couple of differences between WSU and Auburn.

      1. Sponsors probably know that it would be an absolute waste of money to do in-game promotions since none of the Auburn fans care about basketball.

      2. Auburn is flush with SEC football money.

And this is why letting that game slip away frustrates me so much.
You miss 100% of the shots you don't take....

.....but, statistically speaking, you miss 99% of the shots you do take.

          • Providence is not that good. Might be the most compelling case of a team currently in the top 25 that doesn't actually belong there.

              • We're gonna start seeing a lot of 4-6 loss top 25 teams soon. Won't be long now before WSU breaks in. Gotta win tomorrow, but the path is getting paved. People are waiting. Time to give the people what they want.

I keep hearing there aren't a lot of great times this year. People are just looking in the wrong places but one is about to arrive :)

I'm sure they'll drop 15 3's on us on Wednesday though. They only give a damn when they play a good team at home.
I'm starting to wonder if they are experiencing a team chemistry collapse like WSU in 06-07. Didn't they have a guy just transfer out or quit the team mid-season? For as bad as they've been playing all of the sudden, I have to wonder if something odd is up.

Porter Moser, great coach... Or greatest coach.
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

                    • Missouri State seems to be learning how to play in the 2nd half, too, even if it is at Bradley.

Probably got caught looking ahead, and they aren't talented enough overall to do that, especially on a day when they can't shoot. As someone else said, they'll probably catch fire from three against WSU -- that would be typical -- but still, what an embarrassment. To do that at home is startling, and it also confirms that the UNIs aren't strong inside.

Either they'll really be ready for WSU or they're in serious disarray right now. Guess we'll see Wednesday.

                        • They were completely abysmal yesterday. I wonder if Washpun (maybe others) isn't feeling some wear because he's lost some speed and bounce, at least lately.

I don't know why Carlson isn't playing more either. I like his game. But they are who they are. Great perimeter shooting team that is lacking in the post. That being said, there is NO excuse to score 41 points at home against Loyola. Even though the Ramblers are a bad matchup (athletic and also perimeter oriented) for the Panthers, they just have to be better than that.

But you always fear and respect an injured animal, as they can be the most dangerous kind. I promise you, more than beating UNC and Iowa State, it would make their season to beat the Shocks.

                          • If UNI beats the Shox, they are probably back to the last 4 in.

The energy and 3 point shooting may miraculously reappear with a full arena and the Shockers visiting Cedar Falls. We have a lot to overcome on the road.

                              • If you look at the way the season has gone for UNI then it would logical to expect they will have a great game against the Shocks on Wednesday and then go back into hibernation.
