Conner Frankamp is a Shocker

I know it is fun to poke fun at the situation, but honestly he was KU's best PG in the NCAA. I'd feel fine taking him, even though rationally speaking he fits likes a glove at Creighton. He was obviously recruited over at KU, and honestly he'd find it even harder to find minutes here. But he's a good college basketball player. At KU he was the best defender and shooter of their PGs, which isn't saying much. He'd certainly be capable of earning situational minutes here, with the potential of starting. He'd never start at KU, just because of the way OAD recruiting works.
If he wants to start immediately and just shoot 3s, he should go to Creighton. But if he is willing to forgo his ego and put in hard work, I'd love to have him. From everything I've heard though, his father is tremendously overbearing and wants his kid to be a star ASAP. The personalities probably just do not match at all with our program.

Okay, if we somehow land Connor out of this situation, I'm just going to say it. I will be thrilled for one very big reason. Because Gregg Marshall will take Connor Frankamp and be more successful than KU with him. It will be another way to expose the situation for what it is.
And how annoying is it that KU fans automatically KNOW he must be transferring here? "He wasn't good enough at KU so he is transferring to WSU," ...the program with absolutely no reason to believe there would be any more playing time available and good reason to believe there would be even less. What?
I'm all for it. Perry Ellis can finish his entire 4 year career eclipsed by his hometown team while Connor transfers down here, takes over for Ron after downloading "The Marshall Plan" which will elevate his talent to a place where we can use him, and then HCGM takes him to a Final 4 after KU drops to Bucknell in the 1st round.
Jenn Bates will be glad she got that promotion so she won't have to figure out how to explain all this madness on eyewitness sports.

I don't see him coming here for a number of reasons: I don't think Marshall wants ANYTHING resembling a "we take KU hand-me-downs" status; if Marshall recruited him out of HS and got shafted, Marshall doesn't strike me as the type to look kindly on that sorta behavior; he's leaving for a specific reason (lack of PT, I'm assuming) and there's no guarantee he'd be better off here in that regard. Having said all that, if Marshall wanted him, I'd trust his instincts.

I'll take Holland over Frankamp.
Holland from goshockers : Signed with WSU prior to the start of his senior year at South View High School – the same school that spawned Duke star Jeff Capel… As a senior, named the Mid-South 4A Player of the Year, NCBCA District 4 Player of the Year and NCPreps.com All-State … Won the 2013 North/South All-Star Game Three-Point Contest… Named Second Team 2013 NCBCA Boys All State… Selected for the North/South and East/West All-Star Teams… His team went 23-5 his senior year and advanced to the second round of state playoffs in each of his last two seasons… Coached Nathan Faulk… Averaged 20.5 points, 5.4 rebounds and 3.6 assists as a junior at South View High School… Named to the First Team All-Cape Fear Region team by the Fayetteville Observer and also landed on the All-Mid-South 4-A Conference team… Reached the 1,000-point career scoring mark as a junior… Broke Jeff Capel’s career three-point record with 153 (six more than Capel’s previous school record)… His 554 points in his final season were the most by a South View player since Capel’s 761 in 1992-93… A McDonald’s All-American nominee.
Holland can also defend and get to the rim.

There were rumblings mention on the board, that WSU was still looking at singing more player(s) for next years class.
Perhaps it's not wise to connect-the-dots yet, but it certainly wouldn't shock me to see him "come home".
Maybe he got some inspiration from LeBron. The Assman
