  • OT for MSU. Wazzu has the momentum following a tying 3 and a missed layup by the Bears at the buzzer.

    • Did miss something? Mr. Thurman not listed as playing.
Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.

He's had a nagging injury of some kind.

        • He's been out for a while due to injury.

          • Mvouika (or however you spell it) is out as well. But MSU's problem is they are a terrible defensive team.

            • Painful loss for MSU. The Bears, Redbirds and Aces are soft as baby **** for being mid-tier teams. The MVC is again pathetic, with the mild consolation that UNI is at least going to provide us with one good opponent in league play.

              • Loyola hangs on for their first actually impressive win since joining the league. Kent State isn't Duke, but they are a top 100 team and any road win against that level of team is always praiseworthy.

                • NMSU loses.

                  MSU loses.

                  Ugh.

                  • Utah currently leads Alabama State 21-16. Loveridge sat out last night and is sitting out again tonight with "knee pain." It is Utah's third game in four days.

                    • MVC is down, no doubt, but I just look at it as a league in transition. Watched some Bradley last night and they actually had moments where they looked decent and actually had a chance to pull it out against TCU and just lost to STLouis by 3. Granted the Bilikins aren't as good as last year. I still have hope for the MVC, it's just going to take longer than we hoped. I really don't see any otheir options for us, only for the otheirs to get better and I think we eventually will. Still have alot of season to go. Of course I am an optomistic person...

That being said, on the year he's averaging 26 PPP in 28 minutes, shooting 68% from the field and an unbelievable 72% from 3 and 89% FT.

That's fairly strong. Oh, and he hasn't missed yet in this game to pad those numbers a bit.
And that has resulted in a 3-3 record, with wins over Avila College, Alaska-Anchorage, and Eastern Illinois.

Where's Casey when you need him?

                        ... No really, deuces.

                        • Marymount has an interesting late game against Irvine. I would have pegged this as close to even money but Vegas has the Anteaters as a substantial (7.5 point) favorite on the road.

Hopefully the Lions can defend the home court.

Exactly. It's the reason they played their best game of the year last year in their pole barn and yet couldn't hold a humongous lead against us....it's the reason we butt slammed them on national tv on senior night to go 31-0 and it's the real reason the guys put like a 48-4 run on them in the semis in St. Louis, eviscerating them in front of 1000s of Shocker fans.

                            • Utah wins 93-62.

Marymount-Irvine locked in a dogfight, 31-29 Anteaters at the under 8 in the 1st half.

At least they beat Alaska-Anchorage. Rice lost to them by 9 today. :disgust:
