If we play Missouri State twice the rest of the way, losing one of the games, Missouri State is likely a top 100 RPI. That would add two top 100 RPI wins to our resume, even though we'd have a loss.
If we lost to Indiana State in the tournament, ISUb would instantly cement a top 50 RPI, giving us an extra two top 50 RPI wins.
Going undefeated really hurts the RPI of the rest of the conference. Any team we lost to instantly would get a strong RPI boost by beating us. By losing to us, they look significantly weaker, and so our wins are devalued. Our wins would be valued higher with losses. Ass-backwards way of looking at things.Originally posted by BleacherReportFred VanVleet on Shockers' 3-Pt Shooting Confidence -- ' Honestly, I just tell these guys to let their nuts hang.'

Frankly, don't those teams have more incentive to take a buy game at WSU so they can hand us a loss and prevent us from continually stealing 1 and 2 seeds? This argument goes both ways, which is why Home and Homes are the only thing we should accept.

I'm actually starting to enjoy the line that's been drawn between the DeCourcy types and the ******* types. The ******* types are going to come out of it with egg on their face and crow in their mouths.
