These pollsters better freakin' treat this Villanova game as an epic beatdown. If you lose by 40 you don't deserve to be in the Top 25, period, let alone doing so against an unranked team. Creighton almost did the same thing to us last year, in Omaha and we lost by 12. It's one thing to catch Creighton on a night like this just be unable to stop them, but you should at least be able to score on that joke of a defense.

They may be a decent team but they're a bunch of p*****. If we had played that type of schedule and had that record, we still wouldn't be sniffing the Top 25.Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

And we have way better wins than anything Pitt has assembled.

Doesn't make them bad. Just not as good as the #4 team in the country.
Trashing teams we beat doesn't do anything but undermine our own successes.Originally posted by BleacherReportFred VanVleet on Shockers' 3-Pt Shooting Confidence -- ' Honestly, I just tell these guys to let their nuts hang.'

Originally posted by Shock Therapy View PostLooking at pollstalker, more than half of the voters have ranked us ahead of Nova. It's the few jackasses that still have us at 9th and 10th that are the problem.
The worst part is that those last 5 voters are the ones that made the difference. The other 60 voters had WSU and Villanova just 1 or 2 votes apart. Those last 5 guys had an average of over 5 spaces between WSU and Nova all to the bad. They each had Nova 5 or 6 spots higher than WSU. The total difference between WSU and Villanova amongst those 5 voters was -26. That made up for the +17 that the other 60 voters had given WSU.

Here's the 5 guys that caused Nova to jump the Shocks: Doug Haller (AZ) WSU 9-Nova 4, Kelly Hines (Tulsa World), WSU 9- Nova 4, Matt McCoy (Columbus, OH) WSU 9-Nova 4, Bret Strelow (NC) WSU 10-Nova 4, and Ron Morris (SC) WSU 10-Nova 5.
While the other 60 voters were keeping Nova and WSU close together, 1 or 2 spots apart one way or the other, these 5 guys gave Nova a HUGE bumb causing the overall numbers to switch from a +17 for WSU to a -9 advantage for Villanova.

Maybe Ron Morris is the Ron who calls in on Marshall's show, still mad that Gregg spurned South Carolina.
