What we need is a hijack button next to the Like button. When a thread gets hijacked, readers press the hijack button on a specific response. When the offending poster exceeds an established threshold, they get a one week timeout. :-)

I really like this!

Although it might become a competition or a goal. I could see myself setting out to get hijack timeout if it were available.

Poster #1 posted his prediction.
Poster #2 called poster #1 an idiot.
Time passed and poster #1’s prediction turned out to have been fairly accurate.
I called out poster #2. No reason to call someone an idiot for expressing a reasonable opinion.

Your response to all of this? You didn’t criticize poster #2. You didn’t compliment poster #1 on a good prediction. You didn’t read it all and silently move on.

Instead, your response was to make it all about me and to criticize me for trying to “incite drama” because I dared to bring up a prediction that was a few days old and had just been validated by a recent event.

That is why I don’t really put any stock into your “gigantic hemorrhoid” comment. If you can't stand to see me call out someone who called another poster an idiot for making a prediction that came true, then I don't really care what you think of me.

You chose to attack "win friends" and disregard "influence people."

Therein lies part of your problem with posters on this fine forum.

You may continue down the path of "I'm right and you are wrong" discourse, but in time, you will be arguing with yourself. There will not be anyone to discuss matters with you.

I'm done here. I went way too far as it is.

So JH4P isn't here to make friends, he is here to argue. That is trolling. However, being a troll is not against posting guidelines. My best advise is to use that ignore button.

Guys, that egotistical nut job is a lost cause. He brags about ignoring me (yet I still see my name continue in his posts). He then thinks the problem is solved now that he's "ignoring me". Well kooky there. Jamar is still causing problems. Guess it wasn't just me?

I mean when somebody openly admits their only reason for being here is to argue, then it all starts making sense.

It's such a pathetic shtick.

I'm hoping the more people who stop paying him attention (me included), he'll slowly get bored, eventually start arguing with himself, and just go away. Perhaps, starting up his cool blog again where he received tens of page clicks (mostly himself and himself) predicting NIT's and bottom half Valley finishes for WSU. It definitely provided accurate, valuable information, like he brings here. And then later on, maybe he'll start his own board where it's just him, creating topics by himself, posting by himself, and "debating" with himself. He would be in his own nirvana and forget about everything else, including here.

This thread has been ruined, poisoned, destroyed, and otherwise rendered totally useless by a few posters who think their opinion is much more important than any actual facts or information that might appear in a thread.

When I look at a thread for two weeks thinking there might be some info - but the only thing in the thread is attitude - it's pretty disappointing.
