      On topic as well....

I don't believe UNC winning last night will make them jump us because of their previous losses on the season. Villanova only had one loss. UNC has a couple bad losses. And one of those was at home. But the pollsters seem to have their craniums up their rectal regions as of late, so who knows?

      Same with Live-RPI.com (rpiforecast.com).

NC has an OOC SOS of 8, WSU 73. Beating Louisville, Michigan St, and Richmond more than counters loses to Belmont and UAB.

At this time, UAB and Belmont are not bad losses. Combined, they are are 12 - 4. Now, if you want to make an argument that a Blue Blood should never lose to the likes of a Belmont or UAB, that is an entirely different story and what is being used against UNC. Anyway you look at it though, if you go on the road and beat the number one team in the nation, which is a borderline Blue Blood program, that speaks volumes. By the way, have we ever played UNC or Duke - anyone know?

          WSU has not played Duke.

WSU is 0-1 Vs UNC. A 80-69 Loss in Osaka, Japan on Dec 21 1984. This is according to the WSU Fact Book.

Yes, that was my point. NC has no bad losses, although one could argue that a loss to UAB might eliminate you from the top 10. In making such an argument, you best hope the Shocks go 18-0 in the Valley or they may have a comparable loss without the comparable Michigan St/Louisville wins.

It was during that game/tournament that Lew Perkins and Dean Smith discussed Eddie Fogler coming to WSU

I think he's got a consulting firm that acts as the go between for Coaches and Universities during coaching searches.

They basically are headhunters for coaches and yes it is a VERY lucrative endeavor.
