The way we lost sucks and is not very desirable. But easy there people. This wasn't Drake. This was a team in the Top 40 in the RPI. Not "devastating".


WSU wasn't gonna go through the season with 2 losses, and anything under 5 losses is pretty damn impressive. Just remember where you had them going into the year.

They are all devastating. Just not in the "my season is ruined" kind of way. Nobody on this board wouldn't have taken 19-3 in a heartbeat. We're still playing for seeding at this point.

I agree, this doesn't really make a ton of difference one way or the other. But it still tastes sour because of how poorly we played. And hats off to Indiana State for taking advantage of it in a big way. Watcha gonna do? Oddly, I would have felt better going into this game if it was a road game. Anyway, g'nite all.

Seriously, this was just one loss to a top 50 RPI team that is establishing itself as #3 in Valley. The Chicken Littles amongst us need to keep things in perspective. I'd rather lose a game or two like this in the regular season, learn from it and get better because of it, than go into the tournament over confident and under prepared. Failure can sometimes make you better--I think this loss will make us better.

I'd watch what you wish for...Northern Iowa is not a place to get well at. I think there are some fundamental issue with this team that get masked over with them winning, but will rear it's ugly head if this team starts struggling.
