Antoine Carr, Greg Dreiling, Aubrey Sherrod and Maurice Evans might be called prize recruits. We did not get Connor F or Grady D. We have also had some success recruiting from KC. Landry, Warren Jabali (Armstrong), Garret Stutz...


When was the last time we landed a prime Wichita recruit. We should own the recruits that come from here but that's never happened.

I get that Fed Ex is a big business in Memphis, but is it really in the best interest of shareholders for a public company to use money to lure college players to U. Of Memphis? It might be different if there was actually measurable payback from advertising, publicity or something in that regards, but it seems questionable to me.

Every home game is free advertising for Fed Ex. The better the team the more exposure. If I were a shareholder I would say it is probably cheaper than buy the advertising time to support the home games on national TV

Why does FedEx need to advertise? I don't get it. I mean, you have Fed Ex, UPS, and USPS. That's it. That's the competition. Like, I'm not going to use a shipping service based upon their giving millions of dollars to bunch of high school basketball players. If anything, it makes me want to use the other service(s).
