Lost a little respect for MT today, going around telling his coaching buddies his version of events. Totally unprofessional.

Well, the AAC is a big step up from the CAA.
CoC gets good support and has some nice history, but nowhere near that of WSU.
Granted, living in Charleston has a lot of great appeal, but our previous coach that had Winthrop and CofC ties was able make it out there to visit quite often!Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

But I’m just comparing it to Marshall who had flirted with offers from better programs and conferences only to turn them down because he had things rolling here. You can arguably make the same case for Kelsey, just from a different level and standpoint.
I look at it again, similar to Marshall:
- Had it rolling at Winthrop
- Won 29 games his last season (Kelsey 31 games)
- was only good enough for an 11-seed (Kelsey a 12-seed)
Does he say: "I like it here, but is the best I can achieve after winning 31 games a 12-seed? That means if we lost in the conference tourney final and go 30-4 we miss out!"
Come here, and like Marshall, you can get at-large bids and not have to worry about a crap shoot tournament. The Assman

Sorry about that fo those who are hanging their hat on him, but too many things are against it, including $$$.
WSU had their chance to get him 3 years ago. But a certain ex-AD decided against it. And the effects of having the wrong guy at the helm and his dynasty roll on.
That is all.Above all, make the right call.
