This is one of those moves where if you couldn’t compete in one conference so let’s move to a conference where it’s easier to win. If this is a move for D-1 football, good luck boys. They are gonna drain the coffers.

Good for them finally pulling off a move. CUSA is currently the lowest/weakest FBS conference I believe, but this gets them in and opens up future opportunities.

And with Cuonzo back at the helm of basketball, I'd expect them to compete well moving forward.

Still wish we had football. I'd feel a lot better about our future.

Will the MVC be completely left out of Missouri? Will SEMO, Lindenwood, and Kansas City make pushes?

I'm not even sure who's potentially available anymore. Omaha? St. Thomas? IUPUI? Milwaukee? SIU-Edwardsville? Eastern Illinois? Western Illinois? Southern Indiana to set up a big rivalry with Evansville? Bellarmine? UT-Martin? Austin Peay?

UTA, UMKC and St Thomas were finalists last time. So I expect it will be one of them. UTA would be on a massive island without MSU there. UMKC and St Thomas make the most sense

I don't know why KC can't get their **** together, and you know the MVC would absolutely love to be in KC. St. Thomas probably makes the most sense. Newer to D1, but holding their own as they build.
