I would post that link if I wasn't on my phone. That is hilarious!

Maybe we should play 4 on 5 whenever Fred comes in, just to be fair.

If Fred is not a Wooden finalist this year his recruitment will be a complete bust.

I also expect Fred to be our quarterback in next years Rose Bowl and to be the closer for the baseball team...when he's not batting cleanup and playing right.

He's a kid with a great head on his shoulders and does NOT get rattled during games. Wait until that first time you see him and think..."he's not that quick" but then he's blowing by people on his way to the basket. I still scratch my head at how he does it. Rest assured he will be your starter as a freshman and he will be a leader from day 1...you guys got a good one.
As you've seen, some of the responses since your last post on this thread have been petty and harping, like shrews.

You should understand that there are some WSU/KU and WSU/K State fans on this board. They would view FVV as the #1 H.S. recruit in the Valley this year, which he clearly is the consensus, with a bronx cheer.. they wanna do the jerk off thing in the air. They hope he's really slow, like that BS that they've been fed. Watch, here will come some more of them.

The true Wichita State fans know that he was severely underrated, even at that ranking. Don't transfer because of those hicks FVV! Wichita State is where it's at right now.. moving up, still.

What? I think everyone is enthused about FVV, but we've seen over-hyped recruits before...not that he's over-hyped. Let's just let him progress at his own pace, whether that be third string at WSU or freshman AA. Either way, we know he's going to make valuable contributions to this team.

Back away from the crack pipe. I don't think anything you said fits anybody who has said anything in this thread.

And even more is the fact that he has to beat out a 5th year SR who holds defensive records for a PAC 12 school and had respectable offensive stats as well. Nobody is saying he won't play. The only thing that has been said is he has to do a lot to start from the get go over Armstead. If he can do that, we're going to be unstoppable at that position.

Some people on here are touting Orupke to be a starter this year. I'm not sure about EO being prepared to play 15-20 minutes per game. While I don't think that FVV will start, I feel better about him being ready to contribute than EO

We've had the number one PG" in U18 EuroBall, who left after his Jr year to go pro in Israel, and we thanked him for leaving, since he was unable to play PG or SG at this level. Then we had what NBA scouts called "the best big man pro prospect" in Africa, who we're hoping can see more than 5 minutes a game this year.

While we have high hopes and high expectations with FVV on board, Fr have to prove themselves at this level before we really jump on the band wagon after some over-hyped players haven't performed anywhere near the level of expectations.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

Has anyone other than Mr. Kevin disagreed that he has to prove himself? In fact many people above have already criticized Mr. Kevin for being over the top. Give him a break.

I will add that Mr. Kevin is either a relative or a high school buddy to FVV. Who of us don't defend those close to us?
