Waiting to hear,
We have completed our investigation and Gregg shall remain as HC of MBB. We take all of our student athletesā well being seriously and will promptly address any mistreatment when reported. As it is an internal personnel issue, we shall have no additional comments with regard to this matter or the investigation.

The mere act of placing your hands around another person's throat will get that person's undivided attention. Example,,,when a Marine DI puts his hand on your throat ie a DI choke hold even if he applies no pressure I can assure you he will have that person's undivided attention. So perhaps this was a "teaching moment" and Marshall wanted his undivided attention.
