I sometimes believe that these pollsters vote based on who they2 think the best 25 teams are vs. just going with what was there. Then I see #16 Indiana (4-4 in Big Ten). BCS = Bull **** Shat.

Which is why I like unbiased computer rankings like Sagarins. The Shox are #13 in those rankings. The 2nd highest ranked non big 6 - only one behing UNLV (hmmm).

Yeah, but you have to ask yourself...Do you really think we're the 13th best team in the nation? No....

I think we're a solid top 30 team...We have the Creighton and Bracketbuster games to prove that we're better than that...not to mention getting all the other W's in between.

Because of biases it will take winning out through the CU game to break the top 25. Winning through the bracketbuster will be needed to be close to top 15.

Winning 2 games helps...but really at this point winning those 2 games doesn't prove we're any better. What's going to matter is what happens to the teams in front of us.... also beating CU and our Bracketbuster opponent will show that we are better and should move ahead of other teams. But one slip up to anyone else in the Valley and we're back trying to play catch up again.

Gotta disagree with you here. Indiana has 4 losses. Sure, they're all in conference and all have come lately, but they kinda are playing in the best league in the country. They have some real impressive wins and only one bad fluky loss at Nebraska. After being in the Top 8 for a while, they sure as hell weren't gonna drop straight out of the poll. 16 is about right, right now. Don't just look at their current conference record and jump to conclusions. Where do you think they should be ranked?

Doubly agreed.

We're playing good ball right now and setting ourselves up nicely. But let's not get carried away with Top 15 rankings. If we take care of business, we'll get our share soon enough.
