Shocks get a lead off double from Jack Sigrist but is erased at 3rd on a bad base running play on a ball back to the pticher by Alex Jackson. Ross Cadena then grounds into an inning ending double play.

Looked like the Shockers were about to was their 2nd lead off double of the game but Couper Cornblum came through with "fuzzy little" seeing eye 2-out single on an 0-2 count to drive in Garret Kocis as the Shockers extend their lead to 2-0.
Couper steals second but is thrown out at home attempting to score on a sharply hit single to right by Derek Shaver. Can't complain about that.Comment

Not lighting up the scoreboard, but getting some good action and have provided a little lead for Liam who is off to a great start.
Walk and a HBP lead to a NSU run in the 4th.

The runner who had walked had already stolen 2nd to get in scoring position before the HBP. The real problem with the HBP was that it came on an 0-2 count.Comment
