I'd be careful making light of the USC job. We are a Gregg Marshall's decision to go back east away, from having to start from scratch and being turned back into a program that we are eluding to what USC is now. It was a short 4 and 5 years ago when this program was a irrelevant. Thanks to GM building it back up, we can now relish in the spoils he has brought but IMO, USC is a sleeping giant and is that 'one' coach away from being an SEC power. I really hope however, GM breaks the cycle and stays here in ICT.

The coaches that USC brought in before were considered good coaches.....just sayin

Just call the Kansas athletic dept. and ask to talk to Coach Barry Hinson (he will be the one answering the phone at the reception desk), and ask him if he would like to go back to the Valley....Just kidding. I see Creighton, Wichita State, UNI, SIU, Missouri State, all in the same mid major stepping stone school. If I was youre coach, I would leave to (no offense, you have a solid program), but I just dont know how schools like all of us in the Valley can compete with the $$$$ offered at large schools. I would think that if he does go that Danny Manning would ge a great fit for Wichita...just kidding about the Barry Hinson deal, although I would laugh my %#@ off if Tulsa hired him. 2. CU and WSU are not stepping stones, but UNI, SIU, and MSU are.

Wasn't sure where you were going with this, especially after I saw the 3.a. but anyone that doesn't think Danny Manning would be in the mix for this job IF AND WHEN IT MIGHT COME OPEN is kidding themselves. Danny has made it known that he would LOVE to have this job. He knows the area, understands how great a job it is, and would cherish the opportunity. The great thing is that he wouldn't be the only option.
