I'm not worried either. GM has his best recruiting class ever coming in. His kids are at an age in which it would be tough to move them, he has a great opportunity here to keep being succesful and truthfully SC is not that great of a job.

With all due respect to Ms Bates, Marshall will be at the top of the list. Seriously doubt the SC job (other than being "home") will meet Marshalls eye test.

Was just on the Gamecocks Board - much discussion about Marshall. Hope Jenn Bates is correct. Marshall will do what is best for him and his family. Hope that means Wichita State.

This is my read on the situation right now. Horn had another year on contract and they're going to have to pay to get rid of him. I really don't see SC firing Horn without having someone lined up for the job, or a couple of coaches that they think they have a solid chance at going after.

Names thrown around at the moment: Marshall, Tubby, Weber, Shaka.

According to this guy with an inside source who told him of the firing yesterday, Marshall won't even be a candidate.
