What is the last official event of Shocker participation in the MVC? I would like to, as the clock runs down to zero, show the MVC my version of "The American".For some the glass is half full and for others half empty. My glass is out of ice.

The latest home events involving MVC competition are:
The baseball teams last home game against MVC competition is vs Evansville on Sunday, May 14th. The last home game is Tuesday, May 16th against K-State.
The Shockers do host the MVC Outdoor Track & Filed Championships this year and which rund from Friday, May 12th through Sunday, May 14th.
If you want to head over to Springfied for the Valley Baseball Tournament that runs from Wednesday, May 24 to Sunday, May 28th. But don't count on the Shockers to be playing on Sunday.

Originally posted by MoValley John View PostI think I discussed this earlier. The NCAA has exacting rules. There will be no visible advertising. Any permanent beer, soda, or automobile logos inside the arena will be covered. The floor will be provided by the NCAA. The floor will have the same layout as every other first and second round floors. Ribbon boards will be programmed by the NCAA with no advertising. The layout will be generic and each arena will look as close to the same as possible. There will be a WSU and MVC logo, but they will be small, almost unnoticeable. The city of Wichita, and the arena name will have a much larger presence.

You are going to host an event with the help of several other entities, one being the Missouri Valley Conference. The MVC is acting as co-host. You will have no ties to the Valley other than you are two seperate entiries that came together to host an event which benefits both.
