  • I don't know Wichita (the city) at all, but I'd imagine the bars/nightlife this weekend are gonna be awesome. I'm jealous.

    • Seth Greenburg talking now. Talking up the AAC, props to MVC and its tradition but the AAC is the new tradition with old MVC ties and rich tradition.

        • Wonderful news about the AAC! I'm so happy to get out of that dumpster fire that was the MVC.

Now all we have to do is worry about UCONN, Houston, Cincy and Memphis all leaving for a new conference within the next 3 years! ;)

(Even then it'd still be better than the what the MVC was becoming)

            • I want to thank ALL the men and women, corporations, administrators and especially all the student athletes that quite literally made this day possible for our city, and our University.

It is THE GREATEST of days to be a Shocker.

Great to have you on board. Here's to the next 126 basketball meetings between our schools.
So glad to be back with Tulsa!
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kickass ... and I'm all out of bubblegum.

Ah, but we're in a much better position now if there is another major shake up in conferences. We could be in that group you mentioned moving again or creating a new conference.

                    • What a long way from the days of Warren Armstrong (the bad one)'s wife banning the low brass cheer.

Can't wait to blow my vocal chords out cheering against our AAC opponents.

                        • Kind of a shame that we made this announcement during the Masters and not around the Final Four weekend. Oh well, that won't keep me from dancing.

                              • It is a great day. Now we need to back it up. What we've done up to now is history. Our new identity will be determined by what we do going forward, not just MBB but in all sports and aspects of the university. Time to elevate your games girls and boys.
