Some threads move too fast and it's hard to keep up. Speaking for myself, if the thread grew by 2-3 pages since the last time I read it, I'm not going back to read everything before I post.

That's definitely true, but the repeat in question was on the same page. The only posts in between the repeating posts were people discussing the actual article.

This article is much more optimistic! Sounds like we can just ask any conference we want to he in, and they will let us in!

It seems to be overly optimistic. But better to see overly optimistic in the national media than pessimistic theme. Who knows maybe the opportunity comes not from what staring us in the face, but somewhere on the periphery.

I try to but admit to not always doing so. Thank goodness I did just now or there would have been a third post with the same article. And I'm not quite up to the storm that would create, not this close to game time!

Clearly many posters don't do that. But you have to admit it can be daunting to keep up with at times. Ironically we have taken up much more space with posts about whether posters read the board before posting than the duplicate posting has caused.

I feel pretty good about the perception of WSU as long as we beat Dayton. Things may have progressed far enough that it wouldn't matter whether we win or lose but if there are still school admins in the AAC that aren't sure about adding us a loss could be somewhat detrimental by making us look overrated.
