I'm starting to get a little bit sad that this thread will die next Tuesday. Kinda like EO's thread. I guess I'm glad I'll have till the end of the day Monday, as I watch Gonzaga win the title, to pay my last respects to this thread and move on to what lies ahead.

This thread won't die. It might go dark for a bit but as long as there is any instability in the P5 (looking at you B12) there will be a chance for more upheaval. Teams like KSU, Baylor, Iowa St could find themselves on the outside looking in and it is good that WSU will already be seated in a better conference before the dominoes tumble again.

On the assumption that we move, I predict basketball season tickets will no longer have 2 free women's basketball tickets to any woman as home game. There will be an asterisk, for the Uconn game.

I usually don't like dynasties, but I do enjoy watching UConn. That being said, I was very happy for MSU. You could tell how much that game meant to all of them.

Last year, in the Sweet 16, UConn beat Mississippi State 98-38 so, yeah, I think this was unbelievably important and meaningful to the them.

One thing that did surprise me a bit is that UConn had ittle to no depth on their team.

That isn't going to happen. Huge upgrade to our conference schedule though. Leveraging Intrust and exempt tournaments is still going to be our bread and butter. Check the AAC teams schedules, middling BCS programs at home at best.

Memphis got Ole Miss and OU, and Cincinnati got Butler and Iowa State. Those are just two I looked at. Just based o that, I think there is potential to get a 'good' P5 to come to CKA. Maybe 2 after settling in a AAC.
