I would support taking all 3. With that said...

As a former UCONN admin, I have a OTR buddy inside President Herbst's office. Change is being pushed...and likely coming.

Looks like near unanimous support over there. The whole thing is just a slam dunk waiting to happen. Hopefully it's real

This is great. Seems to me the general perception of the idea has went from "no" to "absolutely" pretty quickly.

They would have to go East/West. Balance it out a little more and make it better for WSU in the process ;)

Just curious about the timing of any potential future announcement. Does anyone remember how far ahead of Creighton's departure there was any public announcement? I wonder what kind of deadline or reasonable timeline we would need to hear anything to make the 18-19 season a real possibility?

The official announcement came in mid-march of 2013, and they started officially in the big east that fall.

There had been rumors of CU being invited prior to this dependent on the split and the creating of the new Big East. The New Big East was announced in December. Then there was the constant drumbeat of rumors of CU joining up to finally they were invited.

Different situation. The Big East announced it was breaking up in mid-December 2012. Three months later they were officially added.
