I just saw an article on how putting off retirement because your 401k lost 20% last year isn't all bad and the benefits of working longer.
It never ceases to amaze me how differently things are covered depending on who is in the WH. And it's still phrased as post-pandemic market downturn.
This is such horseshit. The downturn was in March 2020. Things had pretty much recovered and then some by summer 2021. Once it gained its pandemic losses, that's the end of that. They told me that if I voted for Trump, we'd be in a war within a year. They said that if I voted for Trump my I'd lose half of my 401K, that the market would tank. Your statement is what’s bothersome. Everyone talks on here about the Democrats and Republicans fighting for power here in America. We aren’t that many years away (maybe a couple of generations) from China using their totalitarian/authoritarian powers to exercise their powers over us. I know the Donkey's and Elephants are all the same but the Donkey's are offering lots of free stuff to the Millions of Immigrants coming through their Open Border. Free Food, Free College, Free 4* and 5* Living Quarters, Free Health Care, Free Drugs and Alcohol, Free legal services so they can stay, etc. Good thing that this doesn't cause inflation.
