        • Looks as if we might have a challenger to go against AJ next year in the Dunk contest. That boy has some mad hops.

The reason I ask is that over on VT, a CU fan posted a video (in response to the Stutz videos) of one of their recruits making a similar dunk. I thought it might be fun to show him this! :)

            • He's #24 and that has a 24 on the jersey. I think it should go to VT.

              • Good eyes, rr. I tried to identify the number but couldn't.

Going over to VT now . . .

There is a split second that you can identify it, and I had to watch for nearly 3 or 4 minutes to see that.

But my favorite part of it: POSTER!

Also if you go to http://wichitastate.scout.com/a.z?s=...=1&nid=3279407 and look at his picture, you can see that the jersey he is wearing in his picture is the same that they are wearing in this video...

                      • Just got back from Dallas where last night I watched David Kyles' game against A. Maceo Smith.

I came away impressed. 19 points — and a solid number of assists, steals and blocks.

Kyles is an exceptionally long, quick, gliding 6-3 guard ... a little slight of build, but not Ogirri-skinny. He has solid handles for the most part, a great first step and explosive jumping ability. He shot the ball well and with range.

His team plays pretty much a one-on-one style offense where everybody has the green light. Because David brings the ball up most of the time, I don't think he gets the number of looks that he might.

Basically they pass once, then whoever gets it puts it up or makes a move and puts it up. When they do run half-court offense the ball goes to the post — and it never ever comes back out.

They were down most of the night, but finally put together a run against a depleted A Maceo team (only seven players and four cheerleaders suited up).

Once Kimball got the lead, they began milk the clock with clearouts for David, who showed off his tremendous first step. On what was clearly the play of the game, David burned by an opponent at the top of the key, left his feet from just outside the lane and hammered in a one-handed flush over a 6-4 defender, who fouled him hard. It was a poster-quality dunk, better than the video displayed above.

Sadly, I would've had that on video had not the federales made me put my camera away, which caused me miss the whole second half.

That said: I have a clip with two plays for you. It doesn't show off the more exciting portions of his game, but it will let you see him and the way he moves.

The first is a play is him jumping center. The second is a great dish in transition to brutish 6-6 F Mike Webb for what I think you'll agree is a rather impressive hammer.

“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'

                        • Could've used this move against Creighton at the end.

                          Another dunk

                            • DK has that gliding-type motion to everything he does. Whether it is running, jumping, shooting, shooting while he's running and jumping - it just all flows together. He makes things look easy. I think that's why his acceleration is so good - you're just not ready for it. He can really put it into high gear when taking you off the dribble or if there is a loose ball or pressing on defense. A Great Finisher!!! Can't wait to see him in the Black & Gold.
