I wonder is Marshall would suggest to him that he finish school at one of the local schools. That would take care of the extra scholarship we're over.
And you forgot White on the list of post players.Infinity Art Glass - Fantastic local artist and Shocker fan

I am going to miss so many things about Carl Hall. He was a work horse for two years down on the low block. Besides him, we had below average 5 position post production. I'm excited about the quality of the 5 rotation for next year. Coleby comes with much hype; Shaq is getting run that makes a case for him to contribute quality play; Lucille was terribly disappointing this year, but hopefully will show up with game next year; Watson and White are interchangeables down low as well. Our 5 depth has the potential to be as deep as any WSU team in recent memory.

Originally posted by SHOXMVC View PostHey, I love ALL Shocker players for who they are...great young men first and foremost. EO just happens to be the most over-hyped player in Shocker history (I do love to watch his great athleticism in blocking shots and dunking), while Hall is worth all the hype he gets. These two, along with our other two seniors, will be missed (after a deep run in the tourny) for different and assorted reasons.
That leads me to the proof of the puddin. What a classy group of young men we have. No wonder 3G still praises them, even during the setbacks. How did we surpass what was expected of us? The answer is a quality group of talented players gave it all they had both on and off the court. What does this all mean?
We all go through life with goals and aspirations. We have several players that have never Danced, but it was a huge dream to do so. Collectively, this squad faced insurmountable odds to never fullfill the dream becoming real. Instead, as players went down with injuries, others stepped right up to the pump, and played a bigger role and the rest is now History. We all have dreams, but the ones willing to pay the ultimate price of commitment are usually the dream achievers.
With that said, give each and every Shocker player deserves credit for Dancing. Each one of them gave their all. In my mind, we are over-achievers, we are Dancing, and we have lots and gobs to be thankful for. Now let's enter this Dance and demand the Pub. and the respect so the whole world will know that "we have a special team, we will dream and we will fight and claw and if we win ugly, so be it. Just win Shocks!!! No not matter what happens, again we know you will leave every once of sweat on the floor, so the ball Boys and Girls better again bring plenty of towels.
Lastly, this is a Shaq thread. Both Shaq and all of our future recruits have much to be proud of joining our Program and we are elated to have each of you aboard. Each of you take notice of the warriors that you follow. Look at Carl Hall, Mr. Wessel, and Mr. Baker that had huge setbacks along the way. Study how the remaining Shocker not only believed in our Program and our Coaching Staff, but also each other. Then just know that you are joining a Program that is very special and we understand fully that you are special too, because Coach Marshall brings in quality MEN that are teachable, want to get educated, and want to win. Next season, let us Dance thrice.Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.
