  • This thread was almost heading to the third page of obscurity.

Three Rivers last game was this past Saturday, which they won 80-53.

OE only had 3 points in 13 minutes on 3-6 from the line. He also had 6 rebounds and 2 blocked shots.

    • I hope I'm able to catch another one online before it's all said and done. It'd be real cool if they make it to Hutch!

        • An opportunity for those of you attending Arch Madness ...

The Region 16 Juco Tournament is the same weekend as the MVC Tournament, and is being held at Jefferson College in Hillsboro, Mo., just 40 miles to the southwest of St. Louis.

Looking at the schedules, it appears that WSU and TRCC will both play evening games on Friday. But the Sat. semifinal MVC game starts at 4 p.m, meaning that a motivated and reasonably sober Shocker fan could make it down for Region 16 Championship game, assuming TRCC is in it, for a taste of 2010-11.

Here's a link to the Region 16 Tournament schedule.

“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'

            • I don't expect EO to have more than about half the impact as a So that Stutz is having this year. There's a decent chance that he can have an impact on the defensive end and shut down a lot of stuff in close to the hoop, but that's about all we should expect next year.

I think it's going to be exciting to watch his progress. There's so much upside that if he can realize just a small part in the next 3 years, I want to be there to see it.

We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

If you're going to put all kinds of ridiculous conditions on it, forget it...

                  • FWIW, EO had 20 rebounds tonight in 21 minutes. Of course, it was against what one long-time TRCC fan called the worst team he had ever seen. Final score: 107-29......yeesh!

                      • The coaching staff has learned a lot about Orukpe this year. I think they know how they want to use him and how to work with him to achieve the best results in the shortest period of time.

There were some comments on the Locker Room show that described how his athleticism would let him defend against ball screens. It surpassed my BB IQ pretty quickly, but the coaches know what they want to teach and what they can get.

Defensive specialist right away is what we were appropriately expecting. Just his presence on the court cuts down on an opponents inside game.

                        • Bump. Saved from falling to page 3.

I believe he plays again tomorrow night. Hopefully after a big Shocker win!

                            • His PG might think he could go someplace with a little less competition for minutes.

While Hannah coming out of JuCo to make first team All-Valley is a good thing for recruiting the next JuCo PG, Williams recent play is not.

If he fears DW (no knock on him), I question whether we should want him.
