If you want to sit with them either they wait in line with you before the game or you move a few rows back when they get to the game. Seem fair enough.
C'mon man. There's nothing wrong with saving a seat or two. Now, I do agree with you if they're saving a crazy amount, like say, 7 damn rows and only 7 people showed up. There should be a rule against that, but just saving a seat or two for some friends who can't take 3 extra hours out of their evening? No big deal...

One of the men that has been pointed out is either 24 or 25. He is a student at WSU. He has worked while getting an education.

Too bad that is not what some people want.

Some people have too much time on their hands and worry too much. This isn't a big deal.

If this is a big problem - Ath Dept. Should look at limiting the years/semesters you can receive the free student tickets.
Just like eligibilty. Once you've had your 8 sememsters - get a job - donate to SASO and buy tickets like the rest of us. Support Shocker Athletics with more than just your presence at games.
I don't want to discourage true fans from attending games - but at some point you have to step up. Give more than you take.

Better give a discount on student fees too. They pay for the tickets. They can't use them outside the student section, and if they can't use them, they shouldn't have to pay for them.

Here's an idea for an alternative. How about we invite all the foreign students to the front row. They're students here too, and they're woefully underrepresented in the student section. Most of them are even the right age. Would that satisfy you guys? Or are the foreigners "not traditional enough" for you?

I guess also - we should also look at the possiblity these guys do pay for GA tickets - and just get there early for every game?
They do also - expend a lot of time and $ to travel to away games.

After the crisis in Haiti this past week, all this seems rather trivial and very, very unimportant. And I am one who has been critical of these "students" in the past. Let's let this die. There are so many more important things that need our attention.

well. i think they appeased the board.

they got to the game ridiculously early but allowed others to sit in the front.

i think its important to have them around.

they help lead many of the chants. they have the charisma to make it happen.

many students have ideas... but, if these dudes arent chanting it... then it aint happenin'.

lol. yea. he was. he had been in line since 1:30ish. right after his last class. redunkulous... he deserves that spot even though i find him annoying.

the others sat in second row though, on the other side.

Should we rename this thread "Where in the Chuck are the Geezers?"

Perhaps you should put a precise definition to the term "Geezers" as you are using it.

I was told after the game that he was flashing the "bird" and the university has zero tolerance for those kinds of actions, especially on national TV.
