I am reading a lot of manic-depressive, self-flagellating, and just plain crazy krap. I suppose that is better for some to get it out here than on your wives, children, and loved ones but get a grip. A lot if what is being reported is baloney and we are going to have to deal with it for a week.
We didn't play well in St. Louis but the biggest problem I had was that the stripes seemed to allow extreme physicality in the half court but didn't allow any of it in the full court. We tried to press but we're called on it where they were allowed to be physical in the half court. Therefore, no easy baskets.
I'm more concerned about Fred, Ron, and the team if we don't make the NCAA than anyone on this site. They have put a whole lot of effort into this season.
By the way, I say we're in.

Seth Davis agreed and added LSU has a better resume and that the Shockers have "no argument".
How are these people employed?Originally posted by ShockerFever View PostAnd as we speak, Andy Katz is on ESPN2 saying WSU is in and listed the reasons for inclusion.
Seth Davis is a schitzo so I don't trust him. Jerry Palm has been discussed ad nauseum for being an ignorant wanker. CBS seems to have something against WSU. Thankfully they only broadcast games and aren't committee members. But man, do they have an agenda. Palm is not getting inside info. He's a broken clock. You know how often those are right.
Just stop with the conspiracy nonsense. These guys are gonna look just as dumb as Nance and Packer in '06. Shox are in, and may well even do some damage once they get their assignment.

The last thing I saw that compared all the teams had a large group largely in the same boat as far as rpi and vs rpi top 50 and all that. We all know FVV was injured early but that doesn't turn those to wins. They are still losses just a mitigating factor. They do have a strong non con and that's a plus. Three losses in the Valley is what it is. Not a strong conference from top to bottom but the losses weren't to the bottom. I am leaning towards "in" but I'd need to see another comparison against the other teams. I think its the wall street journal that does the "blind" brackets". Maybe we need a "blind bubble" and see how all the bubble teams stack up.

I'm not worried about whether they'll be in, and don't have any particular anxiety about waiting until next Sunday to find out where and against whom. My concern is whether they'll go back to playing team offense and can hit some shots, because if they do they'll be a tough out -- but if not, their appearance could be less than enjoyable. Still, I just looked back at their final home game in 2013, a miserable shooting performance in a 59-56 home loss to Evansville, and it reminded me of how things can turn once NCAA play begins.
Now to spend the next few days in the gym shooting threes...
On a different note, after sleeping on it, I am confident we are in. However, CBS's vendeta against us is befuddling. Don't we actually get excellent ratings? Maybe they are still pissed at us over sending the chickenhawks home. I trust Lunardi over Palm all day everyday. Further, to even consider LSU's resume tourney worthy, let alone better than ours is a joke. If they get in, it is simply because the committee wants Ben Simmons in the bracket. Fortunately, I think that is more a media school of thought than the committee.
