"I not sure that I've ever been around a more competitive player or young man than Fred VanVleet. I like to win more than 99.9% of the people in this world, but he may top me." -- Gregg Marshall 12/23/13 :peaceful:

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".
A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

Dance Card has us as the 3rd team out. Stanford, Valpo, Monmouth, and Saint Mary's are probably below us though in real life, so I wouldn't put too much stock in it.

WSU's weakness is half court offense. Still when you think about it they are 18-3 since conference play began (counting NMSU) and not a single bad loss. Just takes that team that can avoid turnovers, play solid half court defense, and an extremely poor shooting performance from WSU (which they aren't a good shooting team this year but i mean extremely poor). Just think if just one more shot in each of those 3 losses goes in prior to having to foul. No one to blame but themselves, and credit to UNI's and ISU's defense. Still 18-3 over last 21 is pretty salty, hopefully they do ignore Orlando and it's enough.

Try this scenario: the Shocks drop to an 11-seed Dayton game against USC (as the committee decides to let them prove themselves now that Fred is back) in a regional where Baylor from the glorious Big 12-2 is the #6, and Utah checks in at #3. Anyone object to that schedule for the first week?

A team like us is very useful in the field this year, they can force a team who on paper is considered a great team, but when look under the hood, lacks substance, thus pin them against a team like Wichita state to test their worth
